Once again the largescale train track renovations, which started a few years ago, will affect the popular airport train Kystbanen, in Copenhagen as well as all regional and intercity trains.

From late night on the 5 October until late night the 7 October, no intercity or regional trains will be able to pass from Østerbro to Copenhagen main train station ( Hovedbanegården).

If you are going from Østerport to the airport, you will have to change to the S – trains, which are running, and then again at Copenhagen Main Station change to the regional train.

However, due to the track renovations, train traffic will be perturbed with fewer trains than usual.

So maybe the metro from Nørreport could be a good airport option.

Check on for more information before taking the train.

The renovations will also affect other regional trains to and from Copenhagen, and for instance the international train to Germany via Rødby-Puttgarten has been replaced by busses on the stretch from Copenhagen to Rødby during two weekends in October from 6 to 7 October and from 27 to 28 October. Take the bus from:
København H: Banegårdspladsen (exit Vesterbrogade)
Rødby Færge: Færgestationsvej outside the station
