The ongoing S-train track renovation between Hillerød and Svanemøllen station should have ended today 30 September, however, due to delays, they have been prolonged until 23 November. Remember to check Rejseplanen before going back to your daily schedule.

Since May travellers on the Copenhagen S-lines, especially those using the northbound S trains, have been checking rejseplanen.dk more than usual. Due to delays the last part is not finished (it should have ended on 30 September; it began on 11 July).

Many S-lines and particularly the A and E lines are affected by the work with changes in schedule and at some points during the work period there are no S-trains running on some destinations; instead, trains are replaced by the so-called train busses/ togbusser meaning that it is not been possible to bring a BICYCLE ON THE TRAINBUSSES.

This means that the C-line affecting expats living in Gentofte is still running in a much different way – going to Copenhagens means changing at Hellerup.

Remember if you have a pendlerkort and travel between Hillerød and Svanemøllen during the work period 2 MAY to 23 November, you can apply for a 25 percent reduction through the offer TakPendler .​

From Friday evening 11 July until Tuesday evening 23 November there are less S-trains between Hillerød and Svanemøllen and several S lines have changes.

S lines will be running this way:

Line A runs every 10. minutes between Hundige and Buddinge and every 20. minutes between Buddinge and Farum (no stops between Emdrup and Buddinge).
Line B runs between Høje Taastrup and Farum.
Line Bx runs between Høje Taastrup and  Østerport.
Line C runs between Frederikssund and Svanemøllen every 10 minutes.
Line E runs between Køge and Hillerød every 10 minutes.
Line F runs between København Syd and Ryparken every 10 minutes and continues every 20 minutes to  Klampenborg.
Linje H DOES NOT RUN

During the evenings and weekend from 11 July to 23 November the S lines will be running:
Line A as normally.
Line B as normally.
Line C between Frederikssund and Svanemøllen.
Line F runs between København Syd and Hellerup every 10. minutes and continues to Klampenborg every 20. minutes.
