Whether you were a teenager back in the 1980’s, or any time after that, it would have been hard not to be exposed at some point in time to the all-time school sucks song “We don’t need no education” from Pink Floyd’s epic album The Wall (1979) or the later musical film drama from 1982.

The epic album has sold more than 30 million copies and stands to this day as a milestone in rock history.

This November don’t miss out on the opportunity to see the musical drama performed at the awesome venue, Østre Gasværk, on Østerbro in Copenhagen.

Pink Floyd’s The Wall is a 1982 British musical drama film directed by Alan Parker, based on Pink Floyd’s 1979 album The Wall.

The screenplay was written by Pink Floyd vocalist and bassist Roger Waters, and it was The Boomtown Rats vocalist Bob Geldof who played the rock star Pink.

Pink is driven to insanity by the pressures of stardom and traumatic events in his life and therefore he constructs a physical and emotional wall to protect himself.

As the title of the performance at Østre Gasværk, Another Brick in THE WALL, Part 5 alludes to, it will be an extension of the three songs Part 1, 2, 3 that can be found on the album The Wall and Part 4 that was enacted as an opera in Montreal a few years back.

Another Brick in THE WALL, Part 5 stages a spectacular performance with one-of-a-kind designs at an international level that will complement the fantastic ambient sounds and brilliant lyrics so characteristic of the legendary album.
